  2. For the first time, documents have surfaced that appear to tie Trump's main holding company directly to the effort to silence Stormy Daniels. Daniels' attorney has revealed arbitration filings that show a direct connection between Trump's company and the nondisclosure agreement with Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.   4. The American military acknowledged for the first time on Wednesday that U.S. special forces were involved in another firefight in Niger in December. The battle took place two months after four U.S. soldiers died in an ambush in Niger, and after senior commanders imposed additional restrictions on U.S. military operations in the country.
